Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking a BIM Coordinator to join one of Ireland’s leading construction companies, renowned for delivering complex and high-profile projects across Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High-Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented BIM professional to work on major projects with blue-chip clients, collaborating closely with commercial teams, design teams, contracts managers, and project directors.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the BIM Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing BIM processes and deliverables to ensure the highest standards of quality, coordination, and efficiency are achieved across all project phases.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the BIM Lead to ensure workflows and project deliverables meet required standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate and develop accurate and detailed BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) to define project-specific standards and quality requirements.
- Produce and maintain detailed 3D BIM models in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensure models align with the BIM Execution Plan and established workflows.
- Collaborate internally and externally with design and project teams across multiple disciplines.
- Create and manage BIM content, including the setup of Revit families and templates.
- Develop construction drawings and extract key project data.
- Administer and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) in compliance with ISO standards.
- Enforce BEPs, standard methods, and procedures within the CDE.
- Perform model validation and clash detection using Navisworks.
- Monitor and review BIM Execution Plan implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with subcontractors and design teams to agree on objectives and coordination standards.
- Support continuous improvement of BIM knowledge and digital workflows across the organisation.
Skills & Experience Required
- A degree in Building Information Modelling, Engineering, or Architecture (Level 7/8) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a BIM-related role (experience with a main contractor in build/fit-out is advantageous).
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; understanding of Dynamo desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of Revit Architecture, with an understanding of MEP and structural elements.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM data management tools.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination.
- Passion for innovation and digital transformation within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
