BIM Manager | Data Centre Projects | Netherlands (Eemshaven)

  • Oversee implementation of Digital Project Delivery (DPD) across multi-disciplinary data centre projects
  • Support site operations, pre-construction, and handover phases
  • Drive BIM standards and mentoring within project teams

 

Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our client’s Data Centre team in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will lead the adoption of Digital Project Delivery strategy, ensuring BIM standards are applied from pre-contract through to project delivery and handover.

 

BIM Manager Responsibilities:

BIM & Digital Project Delivery

  • Review tender documents (Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify client BIM and digital requirements
  • Provide technical review of 3D BIM models for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, and cost management
  • Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT, ensuring responsibilities are clear for all stakeholders
  • Lead DPD kick-off meetings with project management and information teams
  • Support and mentor BIM Engineers as required
  • Ensure BIM processes align with project delivery and handover requirements

 

Technical & Administrative Duties

  • Oversee multi-disciplinary projects with BIM Level 2 requirements
  • Prepare and maintain BIM documentation
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and external consultants
  • Use MS Office and project-specific digital platforms efficiently

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience on multi-disciplinary projects with BIM Level 2 requirements
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects / Dalux (or similar CDE), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion, and other rendering software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Completed third-level qualification in Construction, Computing, or a related discipline

Desirable:

  • Experience leading Digital Project Delivery strategies across multiple projects
  • Mentoring and developing BIM Engineers and project teams
