Commercial Manager (Various Locations Across Europe)

We are recruiting for multiple Commercial Manager roles on behalf of leading contractor companies operating across Europe. These companies are recognized for delivering high-value, large-scale projects, particularly in the data centre, infrastructure, and commercial construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial management of projects, ensuring financial performance, cost control, and value delivery.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability while minimizing risk.
• Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets, cash flows, cost plans, and forecasts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including tender analysis, contract negotiations, and payment valuations.
• Identify and manage project variations, claims, and disputes, ensuring prompt resolution to protect financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost control measures are adhered to and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on project performance, cost projections, and commercial risks to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with contractual, legal, and company requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, ideally within the construction, MEP, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong experience working on data centre projects is highly desirable.
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Exceptional commercial awareness and in-depth knowledge of contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, JCT).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in cost management tools, reporting systems, and financial planning software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel or work on-site across European project locations as required.
