Oradeo’s client is an international, multi-disciplined projects company and we are currently seeking a Construction Warehouse Manager / Storeperson to support project in Mons, Belgium. This is an opportunity to join a market leading organisation in the data centre and life sciences sector.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, monitor, and update Material Tracking Schedules and live-stock logs
  • Work closely with Planning Engineers to ensure materials are available for construction as per programme
  • Plan with Procurement to minimise inventory and manage direct orders, consignments, and corporate agreements
  • Liaise with engineers to ensure material requirements and delivery dates align with project needs
  • Expedite and coordinate prompt delivery with the site procurement team and suppliers
  • Manage stores personnel, stock protection, and material movement from stores to site
  • Conduct physical inventory control, verify material usage, and inspect stock for defects or damage
  • Propose and dispose of surplus or scrap material following company procedures
  • Track and trace goods in transit to site and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Pack and unpack items for storage, prepare inventory records, and provide monthly material reports to management
  • Purchase new stock as required and update the computer system
  • Manage inventory systems and data scope bookings to ensure accurate project reporting
  • Ensure all materials comply with specifications and project requirements
  • Act as on-site expeditor, supporting construction teams to meet project timelines
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
  • IT savvy, with the ability to manage material systems and digital reporting tools

 

Necessary Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in materials management, warehouse, or stores roles within construction, M&E, or engineering sectors
  • Knowledge of material management, inventory control, and stock tracking processes in construction, M&E, or engineering sectors
  • 3rd level qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Computer literate; SAP or other purchasing/software experience advantageous
  • IT savvy, experienced in managing inventory systems and data scope bookings
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and customer care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Teleporter driving ticket (for storeperson responsibilities)
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal
