Due to continued project expansion in Germany, we are seeking experienced Contract Surveyors to join high-profile construction programmes in the Frankfurt region.

Role Overview

The Contract Surveyor will support the commercial management of major construction projects, assisting with valuations, subcontractor coordination, tender processes, and overall financial governance. This role provides the opportunity to work within a high-performing commercial team delivering complex, mission-critical facilities across the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit monthly valuations in line with project requirements.

  • Assist with daily commercial functions and support the wider project team.

  • Help prepare and process tender packages for subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Request and analyse quotes from subcontractors and vendors.

Financial & Contractual Oversight

  • Develop a strong understanding of commercial and contractual strategies for the project.

  • Support efficient delivery of all commercial aspects including cost control, procurement, and reporting.

  • Assist senior commercial personnel in managing contracts, variations, and project documentation.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

  • Relevant third-level degree (Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar).

  • 5+ years’ experience, ideally with a main contractor.

  • Strong background in large-scale Construction or Civil Engineering projects; experience in Data Centres or Pharmaceutical projects is a significant advantage.

Professional Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with modern commercial systems and processes.

  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
