Oradeo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading construction company on major projects across Leinster. This is a senior role within the project management team, offering the opportunity to manage teams, budgets, and schedules on complex construction projects.
Purpose of the Role
To lead project delivery teams with full accountability for all aspects of project execution, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project delivery team, ensuring full accountability for all aspects of build and construction
- Deliver projects on time and within budget, with in-depth understanding of project plans and cost management
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure seamless design and installation integration
- Drive a culture of safety, aligning to company health & safety standards and best practices
- Continuously improve project team efficiency by implementing operational initiatives and best practices
- Manage project resourcing, ensuring the team has the right skills, motivation, and capacity to deliver
- Identify, develop, and retain talent across projects and locations
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in construction, ideally on large-scale projects
- 15+ years’ industry experience
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, legal terminology, and project management principles
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
