Oradeo Recruitment are seeking a EHS Advisor to join a leading contractor in Dublin. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, providing expert guidance on risk reduction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

 

EHS Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety Guidance: Implement Flynn’s EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.
  • Policies, Procedures & Documentation:  Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.
  • Inspections, Audits & Reporting Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports.
  • Risk Management & Incident Reporting: Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated.
  • Training & Communication: Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.
  • Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.
  • Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Full clean driver’s license preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
