Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering large-scale, high-tech projects in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanical professional to take on a leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the full delivery of mechanical systems on complex projects including data centers, commercial builds, and healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of mechanical construction activities on-site, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover

Supervise mechanical subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, quality standards, programme, and safety requirements

Coordinate with the design team, consultants, and client representatives to ensure smooth integration of services

Plan and manage resources, materials, and sequencing to achieve project milestones

Chair mechanical coordination meetings and report regularly to project leadership

Oversee technical submissions, method statements, and quality documentation

Monitor progress and prepare detailed reports for senior management

Ensure all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to specifications and project requirements

Resolve on-site issues and drive proactive risk management strategies
Requirements:
-
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field

8+ years’ experience in mechanical project delivery, with at least 3 years in a management role

Background in large-scale commercial, data centre, or healthcare projects preferred
-
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, CHW, DHW, BMS, etc.)

Proven ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams under demanding project timelines

Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills

Familiarity with BIM processes and digital project platforms is an advantage

Right to work in Ireland required
