Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Package Manager (Concrete / Superstructures) to join a leading contractor on data centre projects in Denmark. This role offers overall responsibility for project delivery, quality, safety, and financial performance. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate all contract aspects, and ensure client expectations are exceeded while upholding HSEQS standards.

 

Package Manager Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

  • Plan, manage, and deliver projects in line with programme, budget, and specifications
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design, and construction functions
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions where required
  • Ensure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achieved
  • Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, quality, and performance indicators

 

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance
  • Ensure works comply with design, specifications, and statutory regulations
  • Implement and monitor project-specific quality plans, method statements, and inspection regimes
  • Support audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain compliance and continuous improvement

 

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, variations, and project cash flow
  • Work with the commercial team to ensure accurate reporting and contract administration
  • Ensure procurement processes are followed, and subcontractor performance is effectively managed
  • Support tendering and bid processes as required

 

Leadership & Communication

  • Lead project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
  • Chair progress and coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication of objectives and outcomes
  • Act as the key point of contact for project-related queries, decisions, and escalations

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent understanding of scheduling, cost control, and quality management
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in life sciences, data centres, infrastructure, or commercial sectors
  • Understanding of digital project delivery tools including BIM and project management software
  • Commercial awareness including contract law and cost management
  • Professional membership (CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS, ICE) or working towards it
  • Postgraduate qualification in project or business management
