Oradeo Recruitment are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our client’s Data Centre team in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will assist the commercial and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery, manage subcontractor relationships, and optimise commercial outcomes while mitigating risk.

 

Quantity Surveyor (MEP) Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, project budgets, and financial reports for MEP projects
  • Conduct regular valuations and produce accurate cost analyses
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to optimize cost control measures
  • Manage tender documents, procurement, and contract administration
  • Identify and manage potential risks, variations, and change orders
  • Ensure all work is compliant with industry standards and regulations

 

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with MEP focus on Data Centres.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience with large Design & Build projects
  • Knowledge of claims, dispute resolution, and contract law
  • Experience controlling traditional contracts or supervising Assistant Quantity Surveyors
  • Experience with contracts valued above €/£15m
