Oradeo Recruitment is presently seeking interest for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer role for our client who are an Electrical and Instrumentation contractor working with some of the leading M&E contractors in Ireland and Europe across a number of different sectors including Data Centre, Power Generation, Commercial, Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical. The role is for an experienced Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis to be site based on projects in Dublin and the Leinster / Greater Dublin area.

 

You will assist with the completion of the design of the electrical projects, assist during construction stage and to carry out work such as completion of O&M manuals, As-Built Drawings, RFI Schedules, Technical Submittals, Design, Procurement Register and Progress Reports.

 

Senior Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with final electrical design
  • Alterations to working drawings.
  • Preparation of design drawings covering all aspects of High & Low voltage equipment.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with members of the design team, contractors and in-house project team on technical and commercial issues.
  • Engineering assistance during construction stage and commissioning
  • Creation of installed drawings and O&M manuals.

 

Necessary Requirements:

In order to be considered for this role you must have an Electrical Engineering Degree and have a minimum 2-3 Years’ Experience in a similar role (Design or Consultancy) with excellent knowledge of design software (CAD, BIM, etc.) and Microsoft Office. Data Centre experience is also essential for this role.
