Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking interest for an experienced Senior Planner to join a market-leading main contractor based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre planning professional to work on some of the most exciting and technically challenging construction projects in Ireland.

Senior Planner Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed contract and project programmes and produce ongoing monthly progress reports.
- Monitor progress trends, outputs, and resources across projects to enhance the planning department’s knowledge base.
- Complete all scheduling and reporting requirements for tenders and live contracts, ensuring delivery to the highest standards.
- Collaborate closely with the project team on all planning and schedule-related activities.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the wider project team, supply chain, and other stakeholders.
- Execute short- to medium-term planning reviews and provide impartial, forward-looking insight to mitigate project risks.
- Challenge, critique, and explore alternative construction methodologies to drive continuous improvement and achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Utilise Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) to manage and report on project schedules and progress.
Necessary Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction and/or civil engineering sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proven track record of working on large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
