Oradeo’s client is a market-leading construction contractor delivering projects in residential, commercial, and critical environments including data centres, life sciences, and high-value manufacturing. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join ongoing projects in Dublin. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and site teams to ensure efficient workflows and quality outputs.

  • Oversee technical aspects of the project: RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, design workshops, and site surveys.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, technical standards, and building regulations.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.

  • Monitor and manage plant, labour, and materials, maintaining accurate daily site records.

  • Implement QA and safety procedures, including site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safe working practices.

  • Set out works using robotic total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools.

  • Provide technical support for on-site challenges and communicate design changes effectively.

  • Report regularly on project progress, resources, costs, and schedule deviations.


Necessary Requirements

  • 5–7+ years’ experience in a similar role with a main contractor on medium to large-scale projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, project delivery, and Irish building regulations.

  • Experience with site set out, levelling, GPS, and robotic total stations.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
