Oradeo’s client is a market-leading construction contractor delivering projects in residential, commercial, and critical environments including data centres, life sciences, and high-value manufacturing. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join ongoing projects in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a tier 1 contractor, manage high-quality projects, and progress your career.
Duties & Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and site teams to ensure efficient workflows and quality outputs.

Oversee technical aspects of the project: RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, design workshops, and site surveys.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, technical standards, and building regulations.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.

Monitor and manage plant, labour, and materials, maintaining accurate daily site records.

Implement QA and safety procedures, including site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safe working practices.

Set out works using robotic total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools.

Provide technical support for on-site challenges and communicate design changes effectively.

Report regularly on project progress, resources, costs, and schedule deviations.
Necessary Requirements
-
5–7+ years’ experience in a similar role with a main contractor on medium to large-scale projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Strong understanding of construction methods, project delivery, and Irish building regulations.

Experience with site set out, levelling, GPS, and robotic total stations.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
