Oradeo Recruitment is presently seeking interest for an experienced Site Foreman join one of Irelands Main Contractors permanently in Dublin. As a Site Foreman, you will gain exposure to prestigious projects on large building/construction sites.

 

This position would come with an excellent remuneration package and a clear path for career growth and development.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Handling the creation of job duties and delegating tasks to construction workers 
• Briefing crew members about how daily tasks need to be carried out 
• Managing construction budgets and tracking construction costs 
• Ensuring that all materials, supplies, tools, and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner 
• Monitoring daily construction procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained and that schedules are being followed 
• Creating progress reports on a daily basis and ensuring that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor 
• Handling onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner 

 

Necessary skills and requirements:

 

• Have a minimum of 5 years construction Site Foreman Experience
• Have a sound knowledge of current construction techniques
• Ideally from Carpentry background, having progressed to Site Manager role
• Knowledge of construction methods and best practice, technologies, and materials
• Knowledge of standards and specifications
• Knowledge of Safety & Health and Quality Policies and Procedures
• Have a proven track record of seeing projects through to their successful completion
• Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytically thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at a high level of quality
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
