{"id":36022,"date":"2022-08-26T13:38:50","date_gmt":"2022-08-26T13:38:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oradeo.com\/job\/mechanical-engineers-ireland-europe-emc-3\/"},"modified":"2022-08-26T14:38:50","modified_gmt":"2022-08-26T13:38:50","slug":"mechanical-engineers-ireland-europe-emc-3","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/oradeo.com\/job\/mechanical-engineers-ireland-europe-emc-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Engineers &#8211; Ireland\/Europe (EMC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Mechanical Engineers Required All Levels | West Dublin<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Large international market leading main contractor<\/li>\n<li>Excellent package and career development prospects<\/li>\n<li>Large prestigious projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Oradeo recruitment is currently recruiting for a <strong>Mechanical Engineer <\/strong>to work with a market leading Mechanical, Electrical &amp; Instrumentation contractor in West Dublin on a permanent basis working on a prestigious project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support the engineering requirements through managing &amp; liaising with Key Project Stakeholders (Client design team, Main contractor, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarisation of Design\/IFC specifications and drawings to fully understand the scope of the Project works.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the Co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority.<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of Sub-contract and Supplier Tender returns for Technical compliance with design intent specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarisation with the Project schedule and ensuring Engineering activities do not impact on same (e.g. Procurement, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Management of the technical submittal, approvals<\/li>\n<li>Management of the material procurement utilising Engineering Materials Report (EMR) by producing material take offs identifying the lead in periods and field need rates<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Works are installed in accordance with Project specifications and to the Project QA plan (for e.g. pre-agreed benchmarking).<\/li>\n<li>Management of Sub-contractors and ensuring adequate information flow to ensure works progress in line with the Project Schedule and Weekly Meeting logged.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and promote the use of new engineering practices and processes to enhance delivery time of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and agreeing project completion criteria and close out documents.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing Sub-contract and Supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Work packs process from development, implementation and handover<\/li>\n<li>Manage BIM priorities i.e. isometrics generation and release<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Necessary Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 &ndash; 7 years&rsquo; experience working with a recognised Mechanical\/Electrical contractor in process mechanical \/ pipework<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and project planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of Navisworks and Database systems related to Engineering functions<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Project \/Primavera planning software and CAD\/BIM process<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage workload and prioritise<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of modularisation ( Off-Site fabrication)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For more information about this Mechanical Engineer position&nbsp;or other opportunities, contact Eavan McCallig at Oradeo Recruitment confidentially on +353 1 687 7188\/ +44 845 643 4964\/ +45 8988 6621 or apply in confidence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>About Oradeo &#8211; Oradeo Recruitment are specialists in the construction &amp; engineering sector.
