{"id":24954,"date":"2018-09-06T09:49:36","date_gmt":"2018-09-06T09:49:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oradeo.com\/?p=24954"},"modified":"2018-09-06T09:49:36","modified_gmt":"2018-09-06T09:49:36","slug":"dutch-firms-line-up-for-e3-5bn-of-schiphol-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oradeo.com\/2018\/09\/06\/dutch-firms-line-up-for-e3-5bn-of-schiphol-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Dutch firms line up for \u20ac3.5bn of Schiphol work"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"article__intro\">Three Dutch contractors are set to be awarded contracts with a combined value of up to \u20ac3.5bn (\u00a33.1bn) for construction work at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands.<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theconstructionindex.co.uk\/assets\/news_articles\/2018\/09\/1536047963_04sep18-schiphol.jpg\" width=\"440\" height=\"314\" \/><\/p>\n<p>BAM, Heijmans and VolkerWessels have been named following an international tender process for the assignments at Schiphol, which have a total estimated value of \u20ac2.5bn to \u20ac3.5bn over a period of up to nine years. The work will centre on maintaining and invnesting in existing infrastructure at the airport.<\/p>\n<p>Schiphol divided the assignments into six lots, with the airport selecting preferred candidates for five lots by means of a European tendering procedure.<\/p>\n<p>The winners are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aircraft stands lot &#8211; consortium comprising KWS Infra and VolkerRail Nederland (both VolkerWessels companies);<\/li>\n<li>Landside infrastructure lot &#8211; BAM Infra;<\/li>\n<li>Underground infrastructure lot &#8211; BAM Infra;<\/li>\n<li>Terminals 1 &amp; 2 lot &#8211; Heijmans Utiliteit;<\/li>\n<li>Terminal 3 &amp; Schiphol Plaza lot &#8211; BAM Bouw en Techniek;<\/li>\n<li>Runway areas lot &#8211; As yet unknown due to ongoing appeal proceedings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Schiphol is now set to enter the realisation phase with the selected companies. The construction companies will be fleshing out and fine-tuning their proposed plans and performances with Schiphol over the next few months.
