Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering large-scale, high-tech projects in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanical professional to take on a leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the full delivery of mechanical systems on complex projects including data centers, commercial builds, and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of mechanical construction activities on-site, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover

  • Supervise mechanical subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, quality standards, programme, and safety requirements

  • Coordinate with the design team, consultants, and client representatives to ensure smooth integration of services

  • Plan and manage resources, materials, and sequencing to achieve project milestones

  • Chair mechanical coordination meetings and report regularly to project leadership

  • Oversee technical submissions, method statements, and quality documentation

  • Monitor progress and prepare detailed reports for senior management

  • Ensure all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to specifications and project requirements

  • Resolve on-site issues and drive proactive risk management strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field

  • 8+ years’ experience in mechanical project delivery, with at least 3 years in a management role

  • Background in large-scale commercial, data centre, or healthcare projects preferred

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, CHW, DHW, BMS, etc.)

  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams under demanding project timelines

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills

  • Familiarity with BIM processes and digital project platforms is an advantage

  • Right to work in Ireland required
