Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor for a market-leading international contractor with projects across Ireland and mainland Europe. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team delivering complex data centre and mission-critical developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical cost elements of high-value construction projects from pre-contract to final account

  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation

  • Perform cost control, forecasting, and reporting duties throughout the lifecycle of the project

  • Assess and value progress claims, variations, and subcontractor payments

  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, and planning teams to maintain accurate cost reporting

  • Support the commercial lead in contract administration and negotiation

  • Ensure compliance with company commercial processes and client requirements

  • Attend project and client meetings as required, both in Ireland and internationally

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline

  • 4+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with electrical or M&E package exposure

  • Experience working on mission-critical projects (e.g., data centres, pharma, advanced manufacturing) is desirable

  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract including NEC, FIDIC, or similar

  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail

  • Willingness to travel or relocate to Switzerland for project-based roles

  • EU passport or right to work in Ireland and Switzerland preferred
