We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager (Building Experience) to join a high-performing project team in the Greater Dublin region. This role involves leading on-site operations across all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Role Overview The Site Manager will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that client expectations are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. The role is suited to candidates with broad building experience, including combined Shell & Core and Fit-Out works.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Deliver projects to client expectations while fostering professional relationships with design teams and client representatives.
Maintain the highest standards in health & safety, quality, and client service.
Report progress accurately and in a timely manner to Project Managers or Contracts Manager.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work meets the required standard with minimal rework.
Plan, coordinate, and execute works in accordance with contract documents.
Maintain excellent working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and supply chain.
Resource and schedule work in line with the project construction program.
Work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to advise on commercial or contractual issues.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong building experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects from conception to completion.
Combined Shell & Core and Fit-Out experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of construction industry processes and project execution.
Computer literate, familiar with MS Office, Project (or similar scheduling software).
Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) tools such as Procore desirable.
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Keen eye for finishes and proven track record of delivering projects on time.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-starter with good judgment under pressure.
Strong management and leadership skills, capable of motivating workforce.
Commercially aware with knowledge of market trends and competitors.
