We are recruiting a CSA Construction Manager to join a major project team in Frankfurt. This role involves managing the coordination and delivery of CSA, Mechanical and Electrical work packages on a large-scale data centre development for one of the industry’s leading contractors.
Role Overview
The CSA Construction Manager will oversee day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of all construction activities. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, maintain progress against schedule, and support the successful delivery of the project from mobilisation through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate all CSA, Mechanical and Electrical work packages on site • Manage site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including setup, documentation and close-out • Oversee QA processes with the Project Manager and maintain all associated documentation • Manage project schedule with Planners, Project Managers, subcontractors and design teams • Control project costs including labour, materials, plant, equipment, variations and valuations • Lead and manage the site team; support collaboration across all disciplines • Chair coordination meetings with subcontractors and project teams • Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower levels and weekly progress • Manage site snagging/punch lists and ensure timely close-out • Maintain all subcontractor documentation, including safety files • Manage site logistics, labour, security, traffic management and telehandler operations • Drive a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement • Prepare daily site reports, weekly safety statistics and labour projections • Participate in commercial meetings, ensuring all variations are captured and issued • Review drawings, setting-out information and builder’s works requirements • Support full project close-out including O&M Manuals, Safety/QA files and Final Account
Candidate Requirements
• 5–7 years’ experience as a CSA Construction Manager or Supervisor • Strong working knowledge of CSA construction processes and large-scale project delivery • Trade background or relevant engineering/construction qualification • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on major projects • Data centre experience is highly desirable • Strong organisation, leadership and communication skills
