Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join a leading contractor working across Dublin and Leinster. This is a critical site-based role suited to candidates with a strong background in reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction. The successful candidate will take ownership of all concrete works on site, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity on medium to large-scale developments.

 

Concrete Foreman Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site reinforced concrete works, including foundations, columns, walls, slabs, and structural cores
  • Supervise direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality, and programme targets are achieved
  • Ensure all works are carried out in full compliance with health & safety regulations, method statements, and company procedures
  • Monitor progress against the construction programme, identifying and resolving delays or sequencing issues
  • Work closely with engineers, site management, and design teams to resolve technical and buildability challenges
  • Maintain accurate daily records of site activities, including labour, deliveries, and inspections
  • Drive quality control across all concrete works, ensuring adherence to specifications and tolerances
  • Coordinate with site logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of concrete, reinforcement, and formwork materials

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar supervisory role on large RC frame projects
  • Strong knowledge of formwork systems, steel fixing, and concrete placement and finishing techniques
  • Experience delivering reinforced concrete structures of 5+ storeys
  • Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive team performance
  • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
