Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an MEP Coordinator to join a leading contractor in Dublin, supporting the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services from pre-construction through to final handover. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work on complex projects, ensuring seamless integration of MEP systems while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
MEP Coordinator Responsibilities:
Coordinate all stages of mechanical and electrical services delivery across the project lifecycle
Support pre-construction planning, construction activities, testing, commissioning, and final verification
Manage design information, technical submissions, and approvals in line with the project programme
Coordinate communication and information flow between design teams and specialist subcontractors
Ensure MEP deliverables are implemented in accordance with agreed project requirements
Monitor on-site installations, ensuring inspections and stage checks meet specifications and approved submittals
Chair coordination meetings with MEP subcontractors and stakeholders
Identify and manage design changes, discrepancies, and coordination issues between drawings and specifications
Provide regular progress updates to the project team through weekly reporting
Ensure all MEP works comply with health & safety standards and site regulations
Support system demonstrations and handover processes with clients and their representatives
Assist in the preparation and submission of safety file and BCAR documentation
Necessary Skills & Requirements:
Relevant third-level qualification or recognised professional certification
2–5 years’ experience in an MEP coordination or similar role
Experience working with and reviewing BIM models
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Background in electrical installation or design is desirable
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong planning, organisational, and time management abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines
Full driver’s licence
