Contract Surveyor | Tier One Contractor | Germany (Frankfurt)

Oradeo is seeking an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a tier one contractor on data centre projects in Frankfurt, Germany. This role is responsible for supporting the commercial management of projects, ensuring accurate valuations, contractual compliance, and effective collaboration with project teams and subcontractors. The successful candidate will contribute to commercial strategy while ensuring efficient delivery of all financial and contractual aspects.

 

Contract Surveyor Responsibilities:

Project Commercial Management

  • Prepare and submit monthly valuations in line with contract requirements
  • Assist in the day-to-day commercial management of projects
  • Support the processing of tender packages, including requesting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Develop a deep understanding of project financial requirements and contractual strategies
  • Ensure commercial and contractual aspects are delivered efficiently and accurately

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with project teams, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to support project delivery
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the wider project team
  • Provide input and guidance on commercial and contractual matters to support project objectives

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Relevant third-level degree in construction, quantity surveying, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably with a main contractor
  • Previous project experience in construction or civil engineering projects, including pharmaceutical and data centre projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including commercial and project management software

Desirable:

  • Experience with international projects or working in a multinational environment
  • Familiarity with digital tools for commercial management and reporting
  • Professional membership of a relevant body (e.g., RICS, CIOB)
