Oradeo Recruitment are seeking a EHS Advisor to join a leading contractor in London. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, providing expert guidance on risk reduction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

 

EHS Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor the company’s EHS Management System on the project
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture on site among site management, contractors, and workers
  • Monitor EHS compliance on site and produce weekly inspections and reports
  • Develop, maintain, and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team
  • Influence and coach the site team in the implementation of best-practice EHS standards

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Recognised EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred)
  • 7+ years’ experience in health and safety roles
  • Previous experience on construction projects in data centre and groundworks projects
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with database systems
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others
