Oradeo Recruitment is seeking applications from experienced Project Managers to join one of our leading clients on major construction and engineering developments in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to manage high-profile projects for blue-chip clients within a stimulating, fast-paced environment.

Purpose of the Role

To manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and update construction programmes with the Contracts Manager, ensuring key milestones are achieved
  • Provide technical leadership to the project team, offering coaching and mentoring as required
  • Determine project staffing requirements and communicate effectively with all team members
  • Implement company safety systems and ensure a strong safety culture
  • Manage project quality across the full lifecycle, ensuring build quality meets expectations
  • Ensure project costs, prelims and packages are tightly controlled
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to achieve agreed commercial objectives
  • Maintain positive relationships with the client team, providing updates on claims, delays and progress

Candidate Requirements

  • Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience managing complex construction projects, including new build and fit-out
  • Experience working in design-and-build environments
  • Proven ability to plan and successfully deliver complex projects
  • Strong technical capability with excellent numeracy and report writing skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to propose value-driven solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling tools
