As part of ongoing project delivery across Northern Europe, we are seeking an experienced Construction Site Logistics Supervisor to support major construction projects in Sweden, on either a permanent or contract basis.

Role Overview

The Construction Site Logistics Supervisor will support the effective day-to-day operation of site logistics activities. Reporting to the Site or Logistics Manager, you will oversee site logistics operatives, coordinate deliveries, manage site access, and ensure that logistics operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.

This role is well suited to a hands-on logistics professional with strong site experience who is looking to step into a supervisory position within a leading international construction company.

Key Responsibilities

Site Logistics Operations

Support the planning and implementation of site set-up, including hoarding, gates, access routes, site accommodation, cranes, hoists, security, temporary services, material deliveries, and waste management.
Supervise day-to-day movement of labour, plant, materials, and equipment around site.
Monitor laydown areas, storage zones, and offloading points to ensure safe and efficient use of space.
Assist in managing hoist and crane usage through agreed booking systems.

Traffic, Access & Delivery Control

Supervise internal and external traffic management in line with site logistics plans.
Coordinate deliveries using the project delivery management system and maintain accurate records.
Check drivers, vehicles, and delivery documentation prior to site access.
Ensure roadways, access routes, and site cleanliness are maintained at all times.

Site Facilities & Equipment

Assist with the installation and maintenance of site accommodation, welfare facilities, and temporary services.
Supervise the use of plant, equipment, and logistics assets.
Support the maintenance of an asset register and equipment inspection records.
Ensure vehicles and plant are operated safely and only by trained and authorised personnel.

Supervision, Safety & Compliance

Supervise site logistics operatives and subcontractors, providing clear instructions and oversight.
Enforce site logistics procedures, method statements, and safety requirements.
Assist with site inductions and ensure induction records are maintained.
Monitor site activities for HSE compliance and report hazards, incidents, or near misses.

Coordination & Communication

Support logistics coordination meetings and liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Communicate daily logistics plans and changes to relevant site teams.
Provide feedback on logistics performance and areas for improvement.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Training

Third-level qualification in an engineering or construction-related discipline (desirable).
First Aid training (required or willingness to obtain).

Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a site logistics, supervisor, or foreman-level role within construction.
Strong understanding of construction site operations and logistics workflows.
Experience supervising site operatives and coordinating subcontractors.
Working knowledge of traffic management, delivery coordination, and plant operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment and respond effectively to changing priorities.
