Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Lead for a high-profile data centre project in Sweden. This is a critical leadership role with a top-tier international contractor, offering excellent long-term career prospects across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the on-site electrical team, ensuring delivery of all electrical systems to specification, budget, and schedule
Oversee subcontractor management, coordination, and performance to ensure quality and compliance
Act as the primary electrical point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders
Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and documentation
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all site operations
Drive the commissioning process and handover of electrical systems
Mentor junior engineers and promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture
Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
7+ years’ experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally in data centres or high-tech environments
Proven track record in managing electrical teams and subcontractors on complex builds
Excellent knowledge of MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, BMS, and fire systems
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, EN)
Right to work in the EU and willingness to be based in Sweden long term
