Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Foreman to join a leading contractor in Limerick. This role is ideally suited to a confident site professional with strong leadership ability, responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

 

Foreman Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise all trades on site
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to maintain productivity and workflow
  • Monitor progress, identify potential issues early, and report to the Site Manager
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and workmanship on site
  • Keep accurate daily records, including site diaries and progress reports
  • Support the wider project team with planning, sequencing, and site logistics

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Foreman or General Foreman role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, site management, and health & safety requirements
  • Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate site teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and ensure works meet specifications
  • Valid Safe Pass and relevant site tickets required
