Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading contractor in Dublin, managing on-site operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality and safety standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on medium to large-scale developments, where you can leverage your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to make a real impact.

 

 

Senior Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager and wider team by providing technical advice on the project
  • Liaise daily with the project team, design team, and subcontractors
  • Perform technical verification of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings
  • Implement QA procedures, including concrete pre- and post-pour checks, RFIs, and resolution of technical issues
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site
  • Monitor and record materials, plant, and logistics
  • Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports

 

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

  • Relevant third-level degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with a main contractor
  • Project experience on RC frame, commercial and residential.
  • Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total stations, and levelling equipment (essential)
  • Excellent IT skills, with knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
